Description
Kenyan AB’s beans may be slightly smaller than its counterpart Kenyan AA, but thanks to The Red Cherry program, each bean is carefully sorted and processed to the highest standards. This light roast coffee has it all – from your first sip, you can expect bright notes of orange, cherry, jasmine, and dark chocolate. The silky texture is balanced and sweet and finishes on a dry, floral note.
The Nyeri county where Kenyan AB is grown is surrounded by lush forests and mineral-rich soil, thanks to the stratovolcano (and Africa’s second tallest mountain), Mt Kenya. The wet, high-elevation region in Kenya’s Central Province produces some of the finest coffee in the world. The counties surrounding Mt Kenya have ample water supply, which allows factories to wash and soak their coffees with fresh, cold river water.
